This articles provides an overview regarding the required exceptional settings needed to use the Hornetsecurity services with Office 365.
Important: In order to perform the required changes in Office 365, you will need to have an Exchange Online Admin role. Additional, please follow the instructions given on our Onboarding website for needed additional information.
From within the Hornetsecurity Control Panel navigate to “Management > Email > Filtering > IP/Hostname” and enter the mailserver of your Microsoft Cloud.
From within the Hornetsecurity Control Panel navigate to “Management > Email > Filtering > Outgoing relay / Email traffic” and use the following IP-Address as a wildcard:
Once done a connector for communicating with a partner organization from within Office 365 will still need to be setup. The followin article will provide guidance on that subject:

Archiving internal emails
Internal emails usually are directly from within the server, which means they are not being routed past the Hornetsecurity services. In order to archive such emails, they will need to be forwarded to Hornetsecurity servers. To do so, please follow these steps:
1. Create a Connector for secure outgoing connection with a partner organization:
