If you are encountering connection errors from the Hornetdrive client when booting up your computer, then this might be related to the client trying to setup a connection to the synchronisation server, before the device was able to start up a network connection.

To prevent this behavior, it is possible to setup a delay, which will prevent the Hornetdrive client trying immediately to connect to the server when booting up the system:

  • Open the Hornetdrive settings (gear-wheel in the top left corner)
  • Open the tab “Advanced
  • Select “Delay after Auto Start

 The appropriate time frame depends on the individual system the client is running on. It might be necessary to adjust the time frame later on.
