The default retention times for emails are:
Incoming: 7 days
Outgoing: 24 hours.
To extend the incoming period, we recommend the use of the Continuity Service. This automatically archives all email traffic for 3 months. Thanks to the flexible rerouting to our POP/IMAP services, damage caused by possible mail server failures is kept within limits. All users can continue to work with their emails via our web portal even during the outage and can also send new messages under their usual email address.
