Logging into the HTML5 Control Panel

To login into the Control Panel, a user with valid email address format is required. Any generic access previously used in our deprecated Flash Control Panel is no longer able to log in.

There are some advantages by no longer using one generic or shared login as an admin account:

• You no longer need to share a password, if there is more than one admin within your company
• If an admin leaves the company, it's no longer necessary to change the general admin's password, and share it with the rest of admins
• It allows knowing which admin created, changed or deleted something in the configuration

In order to provide additional permissions to a user, please check here how to assign roles.

Note: The user admin_cp@yourdomain.com is only created during migration phases from other platforms (if any), and will be removed at a later date. Therefore, we recommended assigning admin roles for the administrators personal accounts, as it won't be possible to change this special account's password without the intervention of another administrator.
