The Control Panel is only able to request the current state of the automatic connector installation for the O365 Total Protection Tab. Therefore, the Control Panel cannot request the existence of Hornetsecurity outbound connectors for your O365 tenant.
The status in the Control Panel will remain in an erroneous state - but that's only visual nature.
