The Archiving service archives a customer's emails. The archived emails are displayed in Email Live Tracking where they can be searched, reviewed, and, depending on permissions, re-delivered.
Who can use the archive?
Users can generally view their own emails in Email Live Tracking. Administrators can additionally view the email traffic for the entire domain.
Where can I find archived emails?
The archive is integrated into Email Live Tracking and can be accessed and retrieved there. This includes emails from the primary mailbox, emails from alias addresses, as well as emails from remote mailboxes assigned to the user. Once you have found the desired email or emails, you can have them re-delivered.
To do this, you can click the arrow on the right side of the email to expand it (see 1). There, you can use the "Deliver Email" button to resend the email to the owner (see 2). A brief confirmation will follow indicating that the email has been sent. After a short moment, the email will appear in the owner's mailbox.
If you want to deliver multiple emails from the archive at once, you can do so via the action bar. To do this, open the bar with available actions below the filters, select the desired emails in the results list, and then click on Deliver Email. Please note that a maximum of 50 emails can be delivered at the same time. For more information, please refer to the following article in our manual: Email Actions
How do I search for archived emails?
When searching using the date filter, the selected time interval may cover a maximum of 365 days or roughly 12 months. Longer periods cannot be selected directly in a single search. Manually entering a longer time interval will also result in an error message. If you want to check a longer period, you must perform the search manually in multiple consecutive time frames of up to 365 days each, for example first for the last 12 months and then for the previous 12-month period.
