- Copy and Paste your license key. If it is a Perpetual License key, go ahead and click [Add License]:
If you enter a Subscription License Key, you will get the following options upon entering it. Enter an email address for a technical contact, regarding support as well as notifications for the subscription.
You also have the option to [Auto Assign] newly discovered VMs to the subscription license you are adding. Then click [Add License]. -
Once you have added all of your license keys, you should see something similar in your License Manager:

Once you have added your license keys, it's time to assign them.
If you are planning to assign a Perpetual key, make sure that you select a host (this will automatically select all VMs located on that host), then click [Assign License to...]
Select your preferred license key from the list and then click [Next] and finally [Assign License] to confirm.
If you are assigning a Subscription, select a host (this will automatically select all VMs located on that host) or individual VMs, then click [Assign License to...]
Select your preferred license key from the list and then click [Next] and finally [Assign License] to confirm.
Once you have assigned your keys, you should see a summary of what each host or VM has assigned to it. You can very easily [Unassign] by clicking the button to the side.
