VM Backup is constantly being updated with new features and improvements, however until now updates needed to be installed directly on-premises.

The CP now allows you to deploy software updates to hosts directly from the online console, so ensuring your VM Backup installations are up to date has never been easier!

Warning: Before upgrading, always ensure all servers you are deploying updates to meet our latest minimum system requirements.

To deploy an update to a host, first ensure the main VM Backup installation itself is running the new version, then proceed to the [VM Backup Installations] screen, select the hosts you want to upgrade and click [Upgrade], as shown below:




Naturally you will also be able to select all the installations you would like to deploy the update on simultaneously.

Should the upgrade not be deployed successfully, you may also upgrade VM Backup manually as per these instructions.
