On 365 Tenant Manager, at partner level, one can generate 5 types of different reports that can be sent by email to an administrator within the relevant domain.
Partner Overview Report: This PDF report summarizes key compliance and configuration statistics across all or selected Microsoft 365 tenants, offering an aggregated view of overall tenant health.
Tenant Overview Report: This PDF report is generated for each selected Microsoft 365 tenant, providing detailed compliance and configuration statistics, along with insights specific to each tenant.
Tenant High-Level Report: This report presents a list of tenants along with the number of settings and policies assigned to each, and their overall compliance status, enabling quick comparisons across multiple tenants.
Tenant Configuration Report: This report provides a comprehensive list of all settings and policies assigned to the selected tenants including details such as enforcement type and compliance state, facilitating in-depth analysis of tenant configurations.
Operation History Report: This report offers a detailed log of all actions performed on the selected Microsoft 365 tenants such as enforcement of settings and policies, offering a complete overview of tenant activities.
Upon generating the reports, you can select the [Tenant Scope] and [Report Time Period].
Additionally, you can also schedule these reports for automatic report generation. To set it up, follow the steps below:
- Browse to [Scheduled Reports] and select [Schedule]
- Set up the report details by naming the report, then select which type of report will be set to this schedule and lastly, the tenant from which the information will be retrieved from
- Proceed with selecting the frequency (Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Quarterly)
- Once done, select which email will receive the scheduled reports
Note: A maximum of 30 scheduled reports can run concurrently.
Important Note: To unzip the .zip archive, a password is required. The password is only displayed once before the report is generated. In order to be able to access the content of the .zip archive later, ensure you copy the password and store it in a secure place before you click on Generate Report.
