A click is counted as soon as a user clicks on a link generated by our engine as part of the Security Awareness Service (SAS), regardless of the link's format.

When Does a Click Count?

Depending on the scenario of the simulated attacks, links are generated to test users' reactions. This checks the effectiveness of training and awareness measures regarding phishing and other fraudulent activities. If a user clicks on such a generated link, the simulated attack is considered successful and is logged accordingly.

Which Link Formats Are Meant?

The only important factor is that the link was generated by our engine. The format does not matter—for example, both plain links and links with anchor text are recorded.

Generating various link formats ensures that a broad range of potential attack vectors is covered. This gives you the opportunity to continuously improve your security measures and prepare your employees for current threats.

What Does This Mean for the Statistics?
