Site Owners will receive automated email notifications when a compliance policy violation is detected.
This will list the sites that contain violations as well as include a link to perform an audit, as shown below:
When the "audit violations" link is clicked, the site owner is taken to the To Do screen, which consolidates the list of all violations that need to be audited.
The Site Owner (as well as administrators) have the option to approve or fix violations individually or in bulk. They can also filter by site, violation reason, as well as change the sorting order.
Additionally, you can also use the 'open file' button which will take you to the live document on SharePoint to help you conveniently distinguish what items are causing violations.
If these violations are not audited within the grace period, the site will be regarded as non-compliant. At this point, the site owner, as well as the organization's CISO, will receive a notification of the violation.
