In the [Notifications] tab of 365 Permission Manager, customer-level administrators can configure daily summaries and manage notifications. Daily summaries are sent by email to the customer’s administrators. The delivery time can be chosen freely.
Daily summaries contain information about activities that have led to the granting of risky permissions for OneDrive, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams sites in the last 24 hours.
To set this up, toggle the [Daily Summary] button and select the recipients who will be receiving the report.
In the [Manage Your Notifications] section, administrators can configure how Administrators and Users receive notifications about policies and other relevant events. This allows you to set specific notification settings for Administrators and Users within the organization. Administrators will also be in control of defining the recipients for the administrators' notifications.
- Email Only (Default): Notifications are sent only via email to the chosen recipients. This option is always available and is selected by default
- Email + Teams: Notifications are sent via email and delivered to Microsoft Teams via the AI Cyber Assistant chatbot
- Teams Only: Notifications are delivered only to Microsoft Teams via the AI Cyber Assistant chatbot
Note that in order to use the Notifications Options, which include Teams Notifications, the AI Cyber Assistant must be onboarded. If the AI Cyber Assistant is not onboarded, "Email Only" will be available.
