What is the Productivity Booster?
The Productivity Booster is a feature of the Security Awareness Service that adjusts the frequency of training and phishing simulations.
Users who have already achieved a high level of security receive fewer e-trainings and simulated phishing emails when the Productivity Booster is activated. This allows training measures to be used more selectively, and users who already demonstrate good security behavior are less frequently burdened with additional trainings and simulations.
The temporary reduction of training and simulation activities is part of the intended concept. One reason for this is the experience that attention to phishing emails can decline again after certain breaks. By alternating between more active training phases and deliberate breaks, the Security Awareness Service can better tailor the measures to the current security level of the users.
The Productivity Booster thus helps optimize the user experience while simultaneously targeting available training resources where there is a greater need for training. As a result, well-trained users have more time for their daily work. A lower number of simulated phishing emails or e-trainings for individual users can therefore be expected behavior when the Productivity Booster is enabled. If you prefer users to receive all e-trainings instead, then disable this feature or keep it deactivated.
How do I activate the Productivity Booster?
You can activate the Productivity Booster in the Control Panel in the Security Awareness Service module under Configuration → E-Training → Awareness Engine → Productivity Booster.
Please note that the appropriate permissions in the Control Panel are required for this.
