In what ways can e-trainings be technically provided?
The e-trainings can be automatically and on-demand assigned via the Awareness Engine, or if the Awareness Engine is disabled, they can be scheduled manually through the training plan.
Additionally, using Make all e-trainings available for all users, all existing e-trainings can be made visible in the user panel, with a training only being assigned when the user starts it.
How exactly can e-trainings be sent manually?
To manually send e-trainings to your users, you simply need to disable the Awareness Engine in the Security Awareness Service module under Configuration -> E-Training -> Awareness Engine.
As soon as the Awareness Engine is turned off, the various available e-trainings appear on the configuration page under the category Training Plan.
Under the button "Schedule e-training assignment", you can configure the manual sending of e-trainings in the menu window that opens. To do this, select the desired e-training and configure the target group (users or groups) and the desired sending time. Save your selection. The affected users will receive the training according to your schedule.
What functions does the training plan have?
In the "Training Plan" area, you get a clear table that shows all planned, ongoing, and completed e-trainings for your users.
There you can see at a glance the training title, the current status, the assigned participants, and the start date of the planned trainings. You can also see when future trainings will be automatically sent by email.
Through actions within the tab, it is possible to edit the date of planned trainings, delete an assignment, or assign a training immediately.
