What is an MSG-ID?

The MSG ID is an email identifier that is assigned to an email both when it is received and when it is sent. It is used to uniquely identify an e-mail and is provided by us.

With the determined MSG ID the support can clearly identify an email which facilitates analysis.

Where can I find the MSG ID?

The MSG ID can be found in two ways:

1. There is a line "x-antispameurope-MSGID" in the email headers for incoming emails. We add a MSG ID to the header there.
   
2. There is also the option of displaying the MSG ID as a column in the table information in Email Live Tracking. This option also displays the MSG ID for outgoing emails. The MSG ID field must be displayed for this:
   
   Click on the cogwheel in the Email Live Tracking
   
   
   Check the box next to MSG ID
   
   
   The MSG ID field is now displayed as an additional column

Tip: Double-click on the MSG ID of an email to insert it directly into the search field. There you can simply select and copy the MSG ID.
