PROBLEM

VM Backups failing when EaseUS Backup is installed on the same machine.

- AND - 

The following error is displayed in the Hyper-V VMMS Admin Event Log:

Source: Microsoft-Windows-Hyper-V-VMMS

Event ID: 10103

Description: Failed to revert to VSS snapshot on the virtual hard disk ‘\\?\Volume{volumeID}\’ of the virtual machine ‘VMNAME’. (Virtual machine ID vmID)

CAUSE

EaseUS Todo Backup's VSS provider conflicts with VM Backups. The above procedure is the recommended solution from the  EaseUS Support team.

SOLUTION

1. Browse to the EaseUS Todo Backup installation folder
   
   
2. Browse to the "bin" subfolder (for 64bit OS, go to "bin\x64")
   
   
3. Run "uninstall-EaseUSprovider.cmd"
