This article explains what happens when you resend an email via the Control Panel.
The result of resending depends on the original category of the email in Email Live Tracking.
Info mail, Spam, or Virus
If an email with one of these categories is resent, the category of the email changes to “Delivered”.
Email with the original category “Spam” before resending.
Additionally, the resent email appears as a new entry in Email Live Tracking. This new entry has the reason “statusmail” and is found on the day of resending.
After resending, a new entry with the reason “statusmail” appears. The category of the original email changes to “Delivered.”
Delivered
If Email Archiving is enabled for the customer, emails that have already been delivered can be resent.
The original category “Delivered” remains unchanged. The resent email also appears as a new entry in Email Live Tracking. This new entry has the reason “Statusmail”.
If archiving is not enabled for the customer, an email that has already been delivered cannot be resent retroactively.
Rejected
Emails with the category “Rejected” cannot be resent.
