Hornetsecurity offers the possibility to display quarantined emails bundled in a spam report and either send it to the original recipient of the email or send a collective quarantine report to a defined e-mail address.
All settings regarding the spam filter are done via the Control Panel. You can find further information on the spam report in the Control Panel Manual.
In the HTML Control Panel, the quarantine report is automatically adjusted based on the information you entered in the Whitelabeling module in the HTML Control Panel. If you use or plan to continue using whitelabeling quarantine reports, enter your information in the Whitelabeling module.
The spam report is part of the spam filter service and is offered at no additional cost. The service is activated in the Control Panel under "Security Settings > Quarantine Report".
The quarantine report will only be triggered if the following points are met:
- The user has received new quarantined emails since the last spam report
- Quarantined emails that correspond to an active category in the spam report
- The user is stored in the Control Panel
- The user is active in the Control Panel
The quarantine report always contains all quarantined emails that have arrived since the last quarantine report. Only activated users receive a quarantine report.
You can set up user-defined delivery times. In order to be able to set these up, the corresponding option must be activated in the user settings.
The different settings can also be configured centrally by the administrator. To do this, the settings are then set for the individual users under "Customer settings> Mailboxes> Quarantine Report".
If you do not want the individual recipients to receive a quarantine report, you can also send a collective report to an email address of your choice. Please note that the collective report will overwrite the individual quarantine reports. It is not possible to receive a summary report and individual quarantine reports.
Hornetsecurity offers the spam reports in different languages. Which language the quarantine report has depends the stored language of the user in the Control Panel.
