Why is whitelisting necessary?
In order to use the Security Awareness Service, certain IP addresses and IP address ranges as well as domains must be allowed.
All information about this can be found in our documentation portal: Allowances for Sending Simulated Phishing Emails
How exactly do I create the whitelist?
To do this, navigate in the MDaemon GUI to Security → Security Manager → Security Settings → Trusted IPs.
Once in the menu, enter the public IP addresses to be excluded for the Awareness Engine from the documentation portal into the field "New Trusted IP Address" and click the "Add" button. Optionally, you can add a comment for documentation purposes during this process.
After completing these steps, you can save the settings by clicking the "Apply" button.
Procedure for whitelisting via the MDaemon Remote Administration:
To do this, navigate to the menu Security → Security Settings → Trusted IPs.
Here you can enter the IP address with a comment and register it by clicking the "Add" button and then "Save".
