Removing a Template from a Tenant
Removing a template from a Tenant must be done through the tenant scope. To access the tenant scope, you can either search the tenant name with the Scope search or browse to [365 Tenant Manager] > [Tenants] and click on the highlighted item underneath the tenant's name.
Note that removing a template from a tenant will convert all settings and policies to standalone or purge the assigned settings and policies on the tenant.
To remove a template from a Tenant, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to [365 Tenant Manager] > [Overview]
- Click on the 'X' next to the assigned template
- In the next two steps, you have the following options for each policy and setting:
Convert to standalone: This option will leave this policy/setting assigned to the tenant
as a standalone policy/setting, but the policy/setting will not be a part of the template. It will still be
monitored
Purge from tenant: This option will remove this policy/setting from the tenant and will no
longer be monitored - Click [Remove] > [Finish]
