In some requests, we may require an original email from the mailbox.
Every webmail or email client has different ways of retrieving the headers or downloading the emails as a file.
Below are some examples:
Hornet.email

- At the top right of a message's pane, click on the three dot button.
- To see the headers, click on View message source.
- To download the full message, click on Save as.

Microsoft 365 (web interface)
|
- At the top right of a message's pane, click on the three dot button.
- To see the headers, click on View and then, View message details.
- You can download the e-mail by clicking Download.

Gmail
|
- At the top right of a message's pane, click on the three dot button.
- To see the headers, check on Show original.
- To download the full message, click on Download message.

Outlook (Desktop) |
- Double-click on the message to open it outside the Reading Pane.
- To see the headers, click on File, and then Properties. The header information will appear in the "Internet headers" box.
- To download an email, select a message and click on File and then Save as.

Mozilla Thunderbird |
- Select an e-mail.
- To see the headers, double-click on a message and press Ctrl+U.
- To download an email, right-click on it and select Save as.
