How do i change the connection protocol in different mail clients?
Windows - Outlook
1. Open Outlook
2. Click on the field in the top left corner named "File"
3. Go to Account Settings
3. On the Account Settings window, select the account you're trying to troubleshoot and select Change.
4. Click on More Settings > Advanced
5. Select TLS
Windows - Thunderbird
1. Open your Thunderbird
2. Right-click the mailbox and click "Settings"
3. Go to Server Settings within your Mailbox
4. Select SSL/TLS under Connection security
Mac - Thunderbird
1. Open Thunderbird
2. Click on Account Settings
3. Choose the mailbox
4. Go to Server Settings
4. Under Security Settings change the connection-security to SSL/TLS
Mac - Mail
1. Choose Mail > Settings
2. Click on Accounts
3. Go to Server Settings
4. Use SSL/TLS as Configuration
Mac - Outlook
1. Open Outlook
2. Go to Settings
3. Select Accounts
4. Tick the boxes at use SSL to connect
IOS - IPhone
- Log in to your iOS device and tap on Settings.
- Tap on Mail.
- Select Accounts.
- Choose the account you want to edit
- When you’re on the account page, tap on the "Account" to go to the Account page.
- At the bottom of the Account page will be a bar labeled Advanced. Tap on that option.
- Scroll to the bottom until you see the section labeled "INCOMING SETTINGS".

- Go back
- Click on "SMTP"
- Click on your primary SMTP server
- Verify that "Use SSL" is checked
