The Control Panel (CP) allows you to manage the privileges as well as setup restrictions for your user accounts. This will allow you to assign Browse and Restore of your Office 365 Customers to the user accounts at a granular level.
- The first step in this case, is to log in to CP: https://manage.altaro.com
- Then go to the [Account Admin] and from the left-hand side menu, go to [Your Account] > [User Accounts]
- From here you are able to see all user accounts within your organisation. Next to each account, you will also see whether that account has:
-
Admin: Admin privileges grant full access rights including changing subscription payment details, activation of subscription, and creating other sub-accounts.
-
Full Access: The user has Full Access with the exception of changing subscription payment details, activation of subscription, and creating other sub-accounts.
-
Restricted Access: By restricting Browsing, Restoring and Deletions, this user will not be able to browse backup data in Granular Restore, trigger Restore operations, and perform deletions for the selected customers throughout all CP applications. Management and monitoring are not affected by these restrictions.
-
Admin: Admin privileges grant full access rights including changing subscription payment details, activation of subscription, and creating other sub-accounts.
- If you would like to restrict access, simply click on "Admin", "Full Access" or "Restricted Access".
For instance, in this case I will be limiting the user account of 'Jurgen' with restricted access to only the following Office 365 Customers:
- If there are users who you'd like to promote to an admin, you can also [Grant admin privileges] from the same screen:
