Note: The default sender address for alerts is <control@hornetsecurity.com>. This can be modified within the CP: [Customization] > [Email Information] > [Sender Address for Email Templates]
To access the Monitoring & Alerts tab, from the CP, launch 365 Total Backup and browse to [Alerts] > [Monitoring & Alerts]
From the [Monitoring] tab, one can export 3 different types of reports through CSV or an API link. Any reports created through an API link can be monitored from [Manage shared API links].
To export a report, follow the steps below:
- Select which type of report you wish to export
- Select the customer from which the data will be exported
- Select whether you want to download the report as CSV or through an API Link (JSON)
- When selecting to download the report through an API link, to enhance security, you can limit access to this API endpoint by specifying allowed IP addresses. For more information on how to use the API key, check the following article
- Once done, select 'Generate and Download Report'
On the other hand, the [Alerts] tab is used to manage alerts and recipients. You can toggle alerts for any backup and restore operations. As well as any alerts related to new discovered items and new organisations.
To set this up, toggle the alerts that you would like to be notified for. You can then manage the recipients who will be receiving these alerts.
