If you're looking for a guide on how to onboard and backup Planner Groups withing 365 Total Backup, follow the guide below.
For New Tenants
- Launch 365 Total Backup and open the [Microsoft 365 Organizations] tab
- Grant the necessary permissions by following on-screen instructions
- Select which Users will be enabled for backup
- Select which Groups and SharePoint Files will be enabled for backup
- Double-check and confirm the new changes
For Existing Tenants
- To back up Planner Groups for an existing tenant. Launch 365 Total Backup and browse to [Backups] > [Groups & SharePoint] and click [Bulk Manage]
- Choose which groups you would like to backup and whether you would prefer to automatically backup newly created groups in the future
- Select a Microsoft 365 Organization
- Select which Planner Groups you would like to enable for backups
- Verify and confirm the changes
The selected items/groups will show as "First Backup" within the [Backups] > [Groups & SharePoint] tab.
