On 365TB, we have introduced the ability to enable the "Four-Eye Approval" process. This feature adds an additional layer of security to protect backed up data from intentional or unintentional deletion by introducing an approval by a second administrator when the deletion request is made. This will also manage any changes made to the retention policy, excluding data from being backed up and disabling backups for Users, Groups and also SharePoint Sites.
This can be either enabled during the onboarding process or activated afterwards through the [Microsoft 365 Organizations] tab.
Here's how to activate the Four-Eye Approval process when onboarding a customer. If you browse to the CP and select 'Add a Microsoft 365 Organization', you'll find this at the bottom part of the page [Four-Eye-Approval]
Once activated, you will be able to add multiple administrators.
On the other hand, to enable the Four-Eye-Approval to an existing 365 Organization, browse to [Microsoft 365 Organizations] > [Four-Eye Approval Policy]
Once enabled, you will be able to add more administrators and lastly, confirm the new changes.
