No. The MX record of a domain determines which server receives incoming emails and applies to all associated email addresses. Exceptions for individual users or mailboxes cannot be defined at the MX record level.
Emails to all addresses of the domain are initially routed through the Hornetsecurity services according to the MX record, filtered there, and then delivered to your mail server.
Why is that?
The MX record is set at the domain level. It determines where emails for the entire domain are delivered.
As a result, all emails to addresses of your domain are first routed through the Hornetsecurity services, automatically filtered there, and then delivered to your mail server.
Workaround
If certain recipients should be exempt from the spam filter, a compliance filter rule can be created within the control panel. With an appropriate rule, emails to selected users can be marked as valid. The spam classification for these emails is then overridden.
Important: The compliance filter is the highest authority for exceptions and overrides other filters. Therefore, configure the corresponding rules very carefully and as narrowly as possible, for example, limited to specific recipients and trusted senders.
