Why do I see this error message?
This error message is displayed if you or the reporting user does not have sufficient rights to deliver an email. These are often emails that we have classified as a potential threat.
The message also appears if an attempt is made to deliver a rejected email. You can recognize rejected emails by the purple categorization:
What should I do if I receive this error message?
As a user: Please contact the IT department responsible in your company or your administrator. They can release the e-mail for you if necessary.
As an administrator: You can release the email reported by the user, check it in advance via admin delivery or adjust the rights for your users.
To adjust the rights, switch to the "Security settings" item in the left-hand navigation bar on the customer object and select "Spam and Malware Protection":
Select the "User Rights" tab
Here you can configure which emails your users can trigger. Please note that the item "Emails with malicious attachments" contains all emails that we classify as a potential threat. An attachment is the rule for this classification, but is not mandatory.
